Bergen Whispers
14th-18th July 2003, Bergen Rådhus
This is the result of working on a project entitled 'Print as an Object'. The floor installation consisted of over 100 unique, unglazed porcelain impressions taken from Bergen's architecture. It was exhibited in the corridors of the Town Hall over a period of five days, giving the opportunity for government employees to re- examine the community they represent.
'A force uniting in one moment of time, capturing the intimate conversations of people living and passing through Bergen.'
The subtlety of this piece is central to its objective. Inoffensive and politely displayed, tentatively inviting people to view from afar or closely inspected as individual pieces.
