C.F.P.R Placement
December 2004, U.W.E, Bristol
The Centre for Fine Print Research is based at The University West of England. They are currently the recipients of a Hewlett Packard research fund promoting the collaboration of 'Art and Science' in the field of digital imaging.
I attended the digital large format printing department once a week for three months to gain experience in digital inkjet printing. This included learning more about gamut ranges, colour consistency and the implimentation of curves to achieve high quality wide format prints. |

I also set up a Students' Working Procedure for large format printing. By following the recommendations of the C.F.P.R, students can gain knowledge and therefore greater control over the number of variables involved.
The concluding projects were three large format prints of video stills: Battle for Control
