Door Installation

This project was a continuation to 'Print as an object' that began at the KHIB. The installation was an attempt to erect a monument to a personal journey with no clear direction.
The helio film, sandblasting the glass, supporting the door with minimal support and finally leaving it to the elements for three months added many practical challenges.
The functionality of the door was lost once it was placed in a wood land. At night, the white paint would glow against the artificial street lighting nearby. The space was recorded at various times of the day, using a camera's single focal point. |
